Beginners 2 Runners – Sittingbourne
Opened in 2015, Sittingbourne Club runs from the tennis courts on the corner of Laxton and Vicarage Road at 7:30pm on Mondays and Thursdays. Jackie Wells, the manager of the club, has worked hard since the opening of the club and was rewarded with an amazing 80 beginners on opening night and she has continued to take the club from strength to strength so you will be in very capable hands. With a fun-filled friendly atmosphere, there is never a dull moment at our club as we help you set out and achieve your goals. Whether you are training for a race or want to get fit and lose weight or even make new friends, Sittingbourne club is the club for you. Your first class is free and then a small fee of £4.50 per class, however, we do have a direct debit option which we highly recommend.
Want to give us a go? Our new beginner’s course begins on the Monday 11th September at 7:30pm. Based on the NHS couch to 5K programme, we will get you running 5K in 10 weeks (scary we know!). Set through a series of intervals of running and walking, we gradually build you up to this first milestone of becoming a runner.
