I started as a beginner in 2015 and can still remember how nervous I was! And how I did not know if I would stick to it. But I did with the encouragement of the brilliant B2R team at Leybourne and the more I ran, the more I enjoyed it.

Over the years, I have entered multiple races since joining, including the London Winter Run 10k, Paddock Wood Half and completed the Brighton Marathon in 2023. None of which I would have been able to do without the support of my clubmates. But running with friends and having a laugh and a natter is what I love most about our club.
