All of our club sessions are led by our fantastic volunteer Team Leaders under the supervision of our Club Managers. Our amazing members all look out for one another and you will be sure of a warm welcome.

You don't need to worry about pace, or being able 'keep up' as that is not how we do things!

We will always have a 5k mixed ability or fun alternative group on our club sessions that you can join in with. Depending on what else is planned for that session, we may also have different groups on offer that may do longer distances or offer speed or hill sessions if you want to push that little bit more!

But our focus is always on the community aspect of running so that everyone, regardless of pace or distance feels welcome and part of our family.

What do you class as a Runner?

If you can already run a minimum of 5k, then you can come on down to any of our sessions to try us out for free.

We have runners of all levels and abilities in our clubs and everyone is welcome.

What can I expect from my taster session?

Try to arrive for your first session with us about 10 minutes before the session is due to start to allow the Club Manager and members to introduce themselves to you.

There will be a group warm up followed by the main session. Each group is led by one of our fun, friendly staff who are there to support you along with everyone else in the group. After the session, we will have a group cool down to finish.

Your Club Manager will then explain how to become a club member.

Each session lasts approximately an hour.

What happens after my taster session?

To continue running with us, you will need to sign up as a Club Member before your next session. Your Club Manager will explain our simple membership sign up process should you feel Beginners2Runners is the club for you. No hard sell, no pressure.

What do you offer?

All of our memberships allow you to attend any session at any of our clubs across the Kent and South London as much or as little as you like to fit in with your lifestyle.

All of our clubs meet twice weekly with at least one club on Sunday through to Friday, so there is plenty of choice.

Our clubs will always have a 5k or fun alternative and depending on the session, many of our clubs will also have groups running up to 10k on a club night, or groups training together to go even further!

Our main aim is for everyone to have fun while exercising on our Team Led, Insured Runs.

We also have a large social aspect to our club outside of Club nights, from club social events, going to races together to a weekend run with a buddy.

A lot of our members have met lifelong friends on a club 5k!

How long does each session last?

Each session last approximately an hour and includes a group warm up and cool down. If you are heading out on one of our longer runs, then these may occasionally start earlier or finish a little later but your club manager will be able to advise you should this be the case.

How much are your memberships?

Your first session is FREE! After that, we ask you to join us a club member with one of our following Memberships listed below.

Adult Monthly

  • £19.99 per month - Bills one cycle at a time. First full period begins on the membership's start date. 30 days notice before next billing date required when cancelling.

Adult Yearly

  • £219.99 every 12 months - Bills one cycle at a time. First full period begins on the membership's start date. 10 days notice before next billing date required when cancelling.

Over 65 Monthly/Full Time Student/Junior(14-18 years old)

  • £16.00 per month - Bills one cycle at a time. First full period begins on the membership's start date. 30 days notice before next billing date required when cancelling.

Over 65 Yearly

  • £159.00 every 12 months - Bills one cycle at a time. First full period begins on the membership's start date. 10 days notice before next billing date required when cancelling

Child Monthly (Under 14 years old)

  • £8.50 per month - Bills one cycle at a time. First full period begins on the membership's start date. 30 days notice before next billing date required when cancelling.

Pay As You Run Membership

£6 per session, paid in advance via our online membership booking system.

How long does my membership last for?

We hope that you stay as a Club Member for years but we understand life sometimes changes.

At B2R we won’t lock you in to a long term contract. For our monthly memberships we ask for one full months’ notice should you need to leave. You will then unless specifically requested otherwise, be moved to our Pay As You Run membership. So you can continue to be a part of our community and come back anytime.

Should you be injured and unable to run we do offer a paused membership option of £5 per month for up to 3 months after which your membership can either be cancelled or reinstated at your request.

5k is a struggle but I'm not a beginner - Do you have anything for me?

Yes! We quite often have 'reboot' sessions at our clubs to get those who need a little help to re-establish that running rhythm without starting from scratch.
